In-Home and Virtual Consults

What does a consult look like?

An in-home or virtual consult can include:

  • Addressing latching issues for a comfortable and effective breastfeeding experience.

  • Overcoming challenges such as low milk supply or overproduction.

  • Providing guidance on proper positioning and techniques to optimize breastfeeding.

  • Supporting mothers with breastfeeding multiples or premature infants.

  • Assisting with breastfeeding after returning to work or school.

  • Offering advice on pumping and storing breastmilk.

  • Troubleshooting any concerns or questions related to breastfeeding.

  • Addressing any breastfeeding challenges: low milk supply, nipple pain, engorgement, clogged ducts or any other difficulties.

  • Providing emotional support: Breastfeeding can be a challenging journey, and having someone to offer encouragement, guidance, and understanding can make a world of difference.

  • Tailored advice for your unique situation: Every mother and baby duo is different, and a breastfeeding consult can offer personalized advice and strategies that cater to your specific needs and circumstances.

  • 1:1 Prenatal class, where we go over what to expect in the first few weeks with breastfeeding and what is normal/abnormal.
